Yuu Watase's next greatest work.

What can I say, Fushigi Yuugi got me hooked to Yuu Watase's work but This manga totally mad me crazy about the FY universe.
The artwork is really nice and the characters are drawn beautifully (especially the boys).

Not only that the plot is superb and so is the story. The romance is not immature like Tamahome and Miaka's (no offence intended to miaka/tamahome fans) but more mature and developed.

I must admit the romance between Takiko and Uruki is really sweet. It makes you really appreciate their love for each other (not that I don't appreciate miaka and tamahome's feelings for each other).

In a way I would say that this manga is more developed and matured version of Fushigi Yuugi. Its really an awesome manga.

Meet Meredith Grey. She's a woman trying to lead a real life while doing a job that makes having a real life impossible.

Meredith is a first year surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital, the toughest surgical residency program west of Harvard. She and fellow first-year interns Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, George O'Malley and Alex Karev were students yesterday. Today they're doctors and, in a world where on the job training can be a matter of life and death, they're all juggling the ups and downs of their own personal lives.

The five interns struggle to form friendships in this most stressful and competitive atmosphere. Meredith's medical ambition is overshadowed by a troubling secret: Her mother, a noted pioneering surgeon, is struggling with a tragic and devastating illness. Cristina is a study in contradiction; highly competitive and driven, she eschews any favors in order to make it on her own. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens is the small-town girl who grew up dirt poor and, in spite of paying for her medical career by modeling, still struggles with her self-esteem. George O'Malley is the warm but insecure boy next door who always manages to do or say the wrong thing at the wrong time. In spite of his attraction to women, he's treated as "just one of the girls." And Alex Karev, the intern the other interns love to have, masks his working class roots with arrogance and ambition.

The interns are guided by an established team of doctors who are determined to shape them into skilled surgeons or break them: Miranda Bailey, a senior resident responsible for training them, is so tough that she's nicknamed "The Nazi." Derek Shepherd is the flirtatious but very capable surgeon who shares a forbidden but undeniable sexual attraction with Meredith. Preston Burke's arrogance is second only to his skill with a scalpel. Overseeing them all is Dr. Richard Webber, Seattle Grace's paternal, but no-nonsense chief of surgery.

Grey's Anatomy focuses on young people struggling to be doctors and doctors struggling to stay human. It's the drama and intensity of medical training mixed with the funny, sexy, painful lives of interns who are about to discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey.

Synopsis:

In the Warring States period, Mi Yue (Sun Li) is King Wei of Chu’s favorite little princess, but after her father’s death, her life falls to chaos. Her mother is cast out of the palace by the Queen of Chu, and Mi Yue and her brother Mi Rong hide in the palace, avoiding disaster after disaster. Mi Yue had had a childhood sweetheart, but is instead sent as an attendant to the state of Qin when her sister (Liu Tao) marries there. Her sister becomes the queen of Qin, while Mi Yue becomes a consort. After Mi Yue gives birth to her son (Alex Fong), her relationship with her sister deteriorates (both begin to engage in harem politics). Later, Mi Yue and her sister are sent to the far away state of Yan, but unexpectedly, Liu Tao’s son dies, and Qin enters internal turmoil. Mi Yue’s son becomes the next king of Qin, and Mi Yue becomes the first empress dowager in history, “The Empress Dowager Xuan.”

Synopsis:

Li Hai-Ning is an editor-in-chief of Da Guo Min publishing company. She’s been in a 9-years relationship with her boyfriend, Cheng-Hao but their relationship had been slowly transitioning into a flat and dull state.3 years ago, she was scouted by another company and brought Cheng-Hao with her, leaving a major publishing company for a new company. However, aside from Cheng-Hao’s books, other works of this company is not making any profit. But now, even the sales of Cheng-Hao’s books are slowly becoming stagnant.

Just when she is planning for Cheng-Hao’s new book which is about online marriage-seeking, she discovered several scandals about Cheng-Hao. In a fit of anger, she decided to break out of this predicament and handle the new book by herself, by becoming the protagonist of the book. This whole situation whereby marriage is a pre-requisite is like a mirror reflecting the various states of love. Among the various kinds of 100 candidates, Hai-Ning learnt many things about love: responsibility, promises, missed chances, betrayal, passion… In the end, will she be able to meet true love through this act of marriage-seeking?

Please name some dramas or movies with a theme like this:

1) A friend falls for someone but asks their friends not to fall for that same person. He/she dies and later on, one of the friends ends up falling for that same person and feels extremely guilty

2) Two people fall in love but something happens and one of them dies. Years later, one person meets someone that looks just like their dead gf/bf and falls in love with that person

It doesn't have to be exactly like this but similar to this. It could be falling for the relative of the deceased, a sibling, a twin or a friend and it doesn't have to be Asian dramas/movies only. It could be anything with these themes.
