Synopsis (+personal thoughts ^^)
This series is based on the famous online Thai BL novel "LOVE SICK : The Chaotic Lives of Blue Shorts Guys" by INDRYTIMES (twitter: @hedshew go say thanks to her for this phenomenal story!), which follows two 17 years old high school boys who eventually fall in love after a deal brought them closer together.
Phun has a girlfriend (Aim) but his father wants him to date his friend's daughter. Phun's little sister, Pang, is obsessed with boys' love.
Phun needs to convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that she can help talk their father around the idea of dating his friend's daughter.
So he asked Noh to become his fake boyfriend in exchange for helping Noh raising fund for his Music Club.

Although the major storyline here is about Phun & Noh, the series also deals with eclectic teen's issues such as peer pressure, rich vs poor, rivalry, relationships, gangsterism etc. 

Sounds similar to Hormones The Series? Nope, not entirely. Love Sick The Series has its own charm & strong points.
Episode 1 could be a bit lacklustre, but give it a chance and you'll find yourself addicted to it by Episode 2.
To date (4th Aug), there are 5 episodes already out & this series has given me diabetes from its too sweet scenes!!!!

Plot


Former legendary assassin Kenshin Himura (Takeru Sato) has now become a wandering samurai. Offerring aid & protecting those in need as atonement for his past deeds. Synopsis:
Li Hai-Ning is an editor-in-chief of Da Guo Min publishing company. This whole situation whereby marriage is a pre-requisite is like a mirror reflecting the various states of love. She saw many kinds of people and also discovered that she doesn’t truly understand what love is all about. Among the various kinds of 100 candidates, Hai-Ning learnt many things about love: responsibility, promises, missed chances, betrayal, passion… In the end, will she be able to meet true love through this act of marriage-seeking?

[MANGA] 3D Kanojo

Ahhh~ Another manga I'm so addicted to! Really, you guys should check this series out.

Plot:

The story is about Tsutsui Hikari, a 100% otaku, and he's not afraid to show it. Obviously being an otaku who goes crazy for games and girls that aren't real, he is an outcast in class and only has one friend, who also happens to be an otaku. Despite that, he is content with how he lives; it doesn't matter that people make fun of him. He thinks the virtual world is a much better place to live in anyway than the real world, so to hell with everything. Well, at least that's what he's thought of until his path crosses with the hottest girl at school, Igarashi Iroha. Iroha lives up to her stereotypical image: hottest girl, went out with a lot of guys, didn't care much about school, and mostly skips her classes. First meet and Hikari knows better than to ever cross paths again with this girl. She definitely is a walking danger zone. An event happened that changes his perspective about Iroha, and now he is well-known as an otaku who's dating the hottest girl at school!



What I think of this series:

I am seriously in love with it! One chapter was all it took and I was like, "OK! SOLD!" xDD Hikari reminds me of Miyamura from Horimiya a lot. They are both dark and isolated from the world, but their perspective of it gradually changes when the popular girls at school came into their lives, loved and accepted everything about them, for who they really are. One thing I most liked about Hikari is that he is never scared of what people would think of him for being an otaku. As someone who still enjoys watching anime and so obsessed with manga, I feel like we shouldn't be afraid to let people know this side of us that's into these. Anime and manga are ageless. It's not something that's only for kids, and we shouldn't feel bad for still wanting them. No one has the right to make you feel inferior for going for things that interest you. And that's why I really like manga. It's an eye opener for people who feel bashful for being a fan of anime and manga.


In any case, whether Hikari isn't afraid to tell the world that he is an otaku or not, he still has a lot of insecurities. He grew up alone, was contented with it, and so when Iroha came into the picture and wanted to go out with him, he had his guard up. "Someone like him" shouldn't be liked by "someone like her". It's this stereotypical barrier that always get in between people. Hikari has grouped himself differently from what Iroha might belong to. Nevertheless, in the back of Hikari's mind, he's already attracted to her and can't help but like her anyway regardless whether she's just playing with him or not.


Let me know what you guys think of this! siiigh there are so many manga series that I wish were licensed and can get my hands on them physically :(

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
Rong Jinxiu (Chen Qiao’en) arrives in Shanghai in search of her half-sister, Yin Mingzhu (Lv Jiarong). Jinxiu’s family has fallen on hard times and is hoping for any sort of assistance from Mingzhu. However, Mingzhu, who is now the lover of a well-known businessman, still harbors hatred for the Rong family because they abandoned Mingzhu and her sickly mother many years before.

Mingzhu is willing to meet with Jinxiu once but does not offer any help. On her way out of Mingzhu’s luxurious house, Jinxiu literally bumps into Xiang Yingdong (Kimi Qiao), who has a crush on Mingzhu despite her being the woman of his older brother. With Yingdong is Zuo Zhen (Huang Xiaoming).

Unable to find food or lodging, Jinxiu wastes away on the streets of Shanghai and is discovered by Zuo Zhen and one of his followers, Shi Hao (Yang Le). They bring her to a high-end hotel owned by Yingdong. Thinking that she was rescued by Yingdong, Jinxiu develops a crush on him, which she confesses to Zuo Zhen.

Sypnosis：
In the summer of 1995, childhood friends Zheng Ren Wei and Lin Jia En took their college entrance exam. Zheng got into a college in Taipei and was ready to start an exciting life in the big city. I didn't see any thread for this drama and thought it's such a waste. This is the drama that airs after "就是要你愛上我 Just You". The main actress is Kirsten Ren (Taiwanese Band SHE Selina's younger sister in real life) and the main actor is Lego Li (It's been too long since his last drama so not many people know him but he's one of my favorite taiwanese actor.)

This story is set in 1995. While some people compare it with kdrama Reply 1994/1997 series, I think it's more like the Chinese movie "至我們終將逝去的青春 So Young". It focuses on character growth and most of the plot happening in the university campus itself. Highly Recommended if you're tired of Makjang and need a breath of fresh air!

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

'Lionsgate Entertainment acquired worldwide distribution rights to a film adaptation of The Hunger Games, which will be produced by Nina Jacobson's production company Color Force. Collins adapted the novel for film herself, and her script is being revised by screenwriter Billy Ray. It is anticipated to have a PG-13 rating. Alli Shearmur, Lionsgate President of Motion Picture Production, and Jim Miller, Lionsgate Senior Vice President of Motion Picture Production, will be in charge of overseeing the production of the movie. Shearmur said:

"The Hunger Games is an incredible property and it is a thrill to bring it home to Lionsgate. This is exactly the kind of movie I came to Lionsgate to make: youthful, exciting, smart and edgy. We are looking forward to working with Nina and Suzanne to create a movie that satisfies audiences' hunger for high-quality entertainment."

The film will be directed by Gary Ross and will have a budget of $60 million. The film hopes to go into production in late Spring 2011 and will be released March 23, 2012. '

Ji Suk Jin: Hello everyone, I'm Running Man's Big Nose Hyung, Ji Suk Jin.  I heard that Zhejiang Satellite TV is starting to film a Chinese version of Running Man, hope it will become the most successful variety show.  I am also looking forward to it!  Chinese version of Running Man, race start!
